Presented by the Barbican and 14-18 NOW, Simon McBurney directs the outstanding Schaubühne ensemble in Beware of Pity, a vivid account of a young man’s slide into a terrible situation.
Raising questions of consciousness and compassion, reverberating in the past and present, Beware of Pity is related in German by seven actors in this orally rich, visually eloquent production.
Performances are sold out but you can watch the live stream on Sunday 12 February at 3pm. The live stream will then be available to watch until Sunday 26 February, 11.59pm.
