Sylvia closes to standing ovation

Sylvia ran at the Old Vic from 3 – 22 September. A dynamic modern musical from Kate Prince’s ZooNation fusing dance, hip hop, soul and funk, Sylvia shed new light on a remarkable figure at the heart of the suffrage movement 100 years ago.

This was the show in its first incarnation and will go on to have a future life we all think it deserves. In spite of its adversity, Sylvia was met with hugely positive audience reaction.
