Season one of 14-18 NOW has begun. The opening is marked by the unveiling of our first dazzle ship in Liverpool, co-commissioned with Liverpool Biennial. Designed by Venezuelan artist Carlos Cruz- Diez and inspired by the camouflage used on naval ships in the First World War, the Edmund Gardner will be available to view until 2015.
Critics and audiences gave this epic work a rapturous reception at a packed Turbine Hall last week.
