Richard Thompson, Siyaya Arts and LETTER TO AN UNKNOWN SOLDIER all at WOMAD

We are thrilled to be at WOMAD this weekend. From 24 – 27 July at Charlton Park. We’ll be taking photos and posting them on our Instagram account live from the festival.

Here’s a run down of what we’ve got on at WOMAD:

Friday 25 August, 11pm at The Siam
Richard Thompson, founder of Fariport Convention and one of Rolling Stone’s top 20 guitarists of all time, for songs inspired by letters and stories from the First World War.

Saturday 26 August, midday, at The Siam
Zimbabwean music and dance collective Siyaya present a specially-commissioned new work.  Founded in 1989, they have travelled the world over on the festival circuit.  Expect their trademark infectious music that will make you wish you were dancing on stage with them.

Saturday and Sunday, 11am – 11pm,  at The Hip Yak Poetry Shack, World of Words
Get involved in our LETTER TO AN UNKNOWN SOLDIER workshops which are free for all ages.
