The first location on the 2018 Poppies Tour will be Hereford Cathedral, which will host Weeping Window 14 March – 29 April. The sculpture will be free to view.
Weeping Window is a cascade comprising several thousand handmade ceramic poppies, originally seen at the Tower of London in 2014. At Hereford, the sculpture will be seen pouring down the façade of the cathedral.
Hereford Cathedral dates from 1120 and is renowned for being the home of the Mappa Mundi, 1217 Magna Carta and a unique Chained Library.
