Poppies: Weeping Window is now open at St Magnus Cathedral in Orkney, the first venue in Scotland to host the sculpture

Guardian Arts Correspondent, Mark Brown describes how the poppies ‘spill dramatically from a tiny window in Britain’s most northerly cathedral‘.

The sculpture’s installation coincides with the 100th anniversary of the Battle of Jutland, the largest naval battle in World War One.
