Tate Liverpool’s new café with wall motif and flags designed by Sir Peter Blake
Tate Liverpool’s newly redesigned café is the perfect place to refuel and get in the dazzle spirit. Tate’s new wall installation and special maritime signal flags were designed by Sir Peter Blake, who dazzled the Mersey Ferry, Snowdrop, as part of 14-18 NOW.
The inspiration for the café, the dazzled Mersey Ferry entitled Everybody Razzle Dazzle, continues its service not only as a functional ferry, but a moving artwork. Carlos Cruz-Diez’s Dazzle Ship, the Edmund Gardner is beginning its new life as a well-loved public artwork. Explore this work of art with one of Merseyside Maritime Museum’s free tours.
