14-18 NOW’s If it wasn’t for their wellies project co-commissioner, Live Music Now Scotland is celebrating its 30th anniversary. To commemorate they have just released Luminate on Delphian Records.
The CD, a snapshot of their work, includes John Maxwell Geddes A Castle Mills Suite, the piece which was written and performed in 2014 in the care homes and centres which inspired its composition for the project If it wasn’t for their wellies.
Critics and audiences gave this epic work a rapturous reception at a packed Turbine Hall last week.
