INSTALLATION OF POPPIES: WEEPING WINDOW COMPLETE AT WOODHORN MUSEUM

The installation of the Poppies sculpture Weeping Window at Woodhorn Museum is now complete. The display opens to the public from Saturday 12 September.

Weeping Window cascades 55ft from Woodhorn Museum’s winding wheel of the No. 1 Heapstead, built at Woodhorn Colliery in 1897.
