From dusk to dawn, ryoji ikeda’s spectra lights up London

spectra is an artwork sculpted in light and sound.  Stretching over 15km into the sky, it is visible up to 10 miles away – across all of London.

Part of LIGHTS OUT, you can experience spectra at Victoria Tower Gardens (adjacent to the Houses of Parliament) and walk amongst the 49 high-powered searchlights to an accompanying sound composition by the artist.

Entry is free and the gardens are open throughout the night.

spectra is produced and presented by Artangel, co-commissioned by the Mayor of London and 14-18 NOW.
