Don’t miss Ciara Philips Dazzle Ship Every Woman which is moored at Prince of Wales Dock in Leith until the 28 August.
In developing her design, Phillips was drawn to the lesser known histories of women in the First World War such as the largely female team credited with designing the vast majority of dazzle patterns. The women worked under Norman Wilkinson in a dedicated department established in the Royal Academy, London; and across Edinburgh, Scotland and the UK.
