Today we announce the 2018 season of extraordinary arts experiences connecting people with the First World War.
This final season marks the centenary of the Armistice and features brand new commissions by leading contemporary artists from the UK and around the world. The season has been inspired by themes including votes for women, the war’s global impact, Armistice and the aftermath of war.
Our commissions for 2018 include brand new projects by: Peter Jackson, Danny Boyle, Akram Khan, Artichoke, Gillian Wearing, William Kentridge, Katrina Palmer, Graeae Theatre, Wildworks, Anna Meredith and 59 Productions, Debris Stevenson, John Akomfrah, Dave McKean, Ian Rankin, Suzanne Lacy, Marc Rees, Christine Borland, Heiner Goebbels, Kate Prince, Bobby Baker, Shobana Jeyasingh, Jason Moran, James McMillan, Jocelyn Pook, Rachel Whiteread and Magnus Lindberg plus many more.
