Following their trip to see The Body Extended: Sculpture and Prosthetics, students chose to explore the notion of prosthetic enhancement through the mediums of creative writing and sculpture.
The themes of the First World War were used as a spring board for their creative responses and the exhibition encouraged pupils to consider how they can extend and adapt their bodies and how much is taken for granted.
Cross-curricular toolkits were developed to support both the Poppies Tour and 14-18 NOW commissions.
