The Herald

★★★★ an eternal moment of grief, memory and tragi-comic genius

The Scotsman

★★★★ fleeting and dreamlike but like the most arresting dreams, it lingers in the mind long after waking up

The Guardian

★★★★ genius

The Sunday Times

Live dance and music beautifully interweaved with film when the internationally acclaimed BalletBoyz made their Wilton’s debut with YOUNG MEN.

Bringing to life their Rose d’Or award-winning film which chronicles the experiences of those sent to fight in The Great War, the BalletBoyz dancers burst from screen onto stage, performing to an evocative and mesmeric score by cult singer/songwriter, Keaton Henson.

Applauded the world over for vivid and vital dance productions, BalletBoyz brought this poignant and powerful hybrid of live dance and film to London, as part of the final season of 14-18 NOW to coincide with the Centenary of Armistice.

Co-commissioned by BalletBoyz, 14-18 NOW, BBC and Sadler’s Wells
