Jez Colborne

A uniquely talented learning-disabled composer and musician. He has acutely sensitive hearing and perfect pitch. He could sing before he could talk. Tim Wheeler is co-founder and Artistic Director of Mind the Gap, the UK’s largest theatre and performing arts company that enables learning-disabled artists to work alongside non-disabled artists as equals. Since 1998 these two artists have travelled and collaborated on music, performance and digital media projects. In 2012 Jez and Tim co-created and co-directed the music-theatre experience Irresistible commissioned by Unlimited for the London 2012 Cultural Olympiad.
